Lynda and Pheonix

My greatest passion has always been for animals in general, dogs in specific.  I love the challenge of working with dogs and the bond that is created. I have worked in the following areas: training and racing sled dogs in Alaska, managing, training, certifying, and working Military Police Working dogs in Texas, training and working as a team in search and rescue in Maine, training bird dogs, handling show dogs, working as an animal wrangler for commercials, plays, and magazines, and have taught professionally for 5 years. I am owned by 2 horses, 3 dogs, a parrot, a Lovebird, 2 ferrets, a cat, and 4 children.

Since graduating from college I have taken a more unconventional approach to life.  I have worked in many different fields always looking for the most adventure I could find. Recently, I have returned to Maine after spending two years in the beautiful and ever adventurous Colorado Rockies. One of my biggest passions lie in the great outdoors and specifically in white water rafting.  I have spent the last six summers working on different rivers and meeting a wide variety of people and loving every moment of it.  I have finally been able to buy my own boat and will be enjoying a more leisurely approach to rafting(when I’m not with the dogs you’ll know where to find me)!! I am owned by 2 yellow Labs, Baxter and Bryce and 2 kitties, Bo and Luke Duke.
